About The Tournament
#suicidesucks
The Nick Malley Benefit Tournament started in 2019 after the unexpected death by suicide of former Lebanon resident and my son Nicholas Malley.
Over the last few years the tournament has grown and become a voice for Suicide Awareness and Prevention. To date we have raised over $45,,000 for the Brian Daigle foundation:
www.brianshealinghearts.org. Please take a moment to visit their page. In CT suicide is the second leading cause of death, our hope is to educate and bring awareness to this global epidemic and someday end the stigma associated with suicide and mental illness. Nicholas was a son, grandson, brother, nephew and a father not just a statistic. Thank you for your support
About the Malley Matters Foundation:
The Malley Matters Foundation was established in memory of Nicholas Malley, who died by
suicide on December 30, 2018, shortly after his 28th birthday. Over the past five years, the
Foundation has contributed more than $45,000 toward suicide prevention efforts, mental health
education, and community outreach. Suicide remains the second leading cause of death
among Connecticut residents ages 25–34, underscoring the critical need for awareness and
support.
